What's new in Export Product Images. Updates roll out automatically: there is nothing to install or re-authorise, and your settings and past exports carry over.

    Content > Files export, videos and 3D models, sturdier downloads

    • NewExport content files. Back up your whole Content > Files library: images, videos, 3D models and other files such as PDFs, including files that no product uses.
    • NewFilter content files by file type, upload date and reference: all files, files used in products, files used by metaobjects (all or one metaobject type) or files not used anywhere.
    • NewName content files by original name or alt text, and sort them into folders by file type or upload month.
    • NewVideos and 3D models in product exports. Tick Include videos or Include 3D models to export them as the original files you uploaded, next to your images. YouTube and Vimeo videos are skipped because Shopify stores only a link.
    • ImprovedExports are now streamed straight into one ZIP file in cloud storage, so very large exports no longer depend on server memory or disk. One ZIP can hold up to 160 GB.
    • ImprovedA download that is interrupted resumes from the exact byte where it stopped. A file that still cannot be completed is skipped and listed in the job log, and the rest of the export finishes.
    • FixedRefreshing or bookmarking a preview page no longer shows a blank screen when a filter value contains & or %, such as a vendor called Omega & Swatch.
